Integrating families is often difficult for parents and children whose worlds are turned upside down and transformed into completely unfamiliar living conditions.

But while Very Well Family and many other parenting outlets assert that nearly all blended families face the same types of problems, each new group faces their own unique challenges—like a highly arguable, organized cat.

Over the past few years, the internet has become awash with videos of devoted ex-parents grooming the cats (and other pets) they claimed they never wanted. However, in the case of the original poster’s fiancé, there was no emotional shift nor was there a viral clip that captures the moment of acceptance of human-animal envy.

Instead, his disdain for his soon-to-be daughter’s pet was made clear from the start and the only video in question was security footage of him Kick the cat out of the house Alarmingly he claimed to be his own.

Domestic cats are usually best suited for indoor lifestyles, despite their familial relationship with lions, tigers, leopards, and other kings of the jungle.

Although many cats across the United States and the rest of the world have the best of both worlds, moving in and out of dwellings as they please, crowded suburban areas pose many dangers to pets that are accustomed to meeting every human need.

Leaving indoor cats outside can quickly lead to tragedy and when this is done on purpose, it is both malicious and cruel.

During the comments section of the viral Reddit post, Redditors acknowledged this cruelty and encouraged the original poster to seriously reevaluate their relationship before marrying the man who easily tried to harm her daughter and beloved pet.

“[Not the a**hole]…but if you stay engaged with him, you will be,” Redditor u/SDstartingOut wrote in the top comment of the post, which got over 21,000 votes. I hope it’s your ex-fiancé, at this point. “

“What he did is horrific,” added Redditor u/CakeEatingRabbit, garnering nearly 10,000 votes. “But what he says about him is much worse. He lacks not only empathy, but also respect for you and your daughter.”

In a separate comment, which garnered nearly 14,000 votes, Redditor u/Pretty_In_Pink_81 provided a lengthy response to Khabib’s hateful actions and cautioned the original publisher that this was just the tip of the iceberg of his behavior.

“He believes he can control you and your daughter… He has no problem harming your daughter… He has no problem endangering the life of an animal,” they wrote. “He knows he’s wrong, but he doesn’t care.

“If you continue with this man, you will not be happy and it will negatively affect your relationship with your daughter,” they added.
