AM Racing confirmed today that former NASCAR Mexico Challenge Max Series Champion Max Gutiérrez will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at the Friday night NC Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte (NC) Motor Speedway.

Charlotte will be announcing the first truck series races of the season as Gutierrez, a former ARCA Menards series winner, will be trialling the second part-time team entry with additional races to be announced soon.

“I am very excited about hitting the goal of having the opportunity to make my NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut with AM Racing this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway,” said Gutiérrez. “I am so grateful to everyone who made this possible and supported me in this next chapter of my career.”

The debut of the Gutiérrez Truck Series will have the support of a roster of long-time supporters, not only in the ARCA competition but throughout his racing career in his home country of Mexico.

TOUGHBUILT will act as the primary marketing partner for the #37 Chevrolet Silverado RST, while additional support will flow in from Bolsa DX, GoGig, Teknekk and Telmex.

“After years of competition, hard work and training, TOUGHBUILT is proud to see Max take this essential step in his career with a spirit of professionalism supporting him,” introduced Cam Diba, Chief Content Creator and Director of Marketing for TOUGBUILT. “We are excited to stand with him as he celebrates this historic achievement and breaks new ground with NASCAR.”

Mike Francis, CEO of Distributed Ledger Inc. | BolsaDX Show, “We’ve been watching Max rise through the ranks over the past year and a half as he continues to push new boundaries with each race,” he said. “The Distributed Ledger Inc. and BolsaDX teams could not be more proud of Max and his accomplishments. We wish him and his team all the best this weekend in Charlotte.”

Three-year partner of Gutiérrez, TekNekk LLC. It also makes hops to trucks.

Troy Welk, CEO of TekNekk LLC, explained, “TekNekk.com is a remote-controlled parental app that protects a child’s spine, mind and safety, and is a proud sponsor of Max Gutierrez for three seasons.”

“Max will debut in a NASCAR National Division on May 27 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We are excited to see him continue to represent our products in the United States. Everyone at TekNekk.com wishes Max and AM Racing the best of luck.”

GoGig, which joined Gutiérrez’s partnership group in February in Daytona (Florida) International Raceway will also adorn its logo on the number 37 AM Racing Chevrolet Silverado RST.

“GoGig is proud to sponsor Max Gutierrez and a Toughbuilt car for Max’s debut,” said GoGig founder and CEO, Chris Hodges. “GoGig’s founding principle was to remove bias and promote diversity + inclusion in the hiring process for job seekers by allowing them to remain anonymous.

“The entire GoGig team could not be more proud to represent Max and his Mexican heritage in the same way at the upcoming race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.”

AM Racing veteran Jimmy Jones will serve as Gutiérrez’s crew chief in Charlotte on Friday night. The two worked together in two ARCA Menards Series races earlier this season in Daytona and more recently at the Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway where the Mexico City, Mexico native finished an impressive 10th after starting 24.

“We are thrilled to be part of Max’s next chapter in the transition to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Kevin Cywinski, Team Principal AM Racing.

“Through our wonderful relationship with Rette Jones Racing Development, we have been able to have some success with Max this year and we look forward to continuing his continued progress and success in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series not only in Charlotte but at other races in 2022.”
